HEY

Thanks for that Phil. So yeah, we're freshmen at NYU and thought it would be quite hilarious if we documented the crazy things that come from the mouths of the homeless. After all, these people are an integral part of the city and they deserve to be heard. So to start off, I'll post a couple of whimsical things I've heard after having spent only a month here in the city.

"Why you have to dress like it's Thanksgiving?"

The next quote needs a background story. I was walking to our NYU gym in shorts and I passed a homeless shady looking fellow who said, in the cheeriest and most sincere voice ever, "Summertime legs." This made my day and I must've looked like a fool walking to the gym because I had a huge grin on my face.

Now, a little bit more about the authors of this blog:
Phil wanted me to take a stab at introducing him so here I go. He's a magician, a pianist, and a fencer. He really likes Mario kart and doesn't know what he's majoring in yet. He's from upstate New York. I'm majoring in neural science with a minor in studio art and I am obsessed with running. I'm from Dallas, Texas and my high school was number one in football for some time. Now that I have spewed all these useless details about our lives, feel free to comment, like Phil said, and/or send us emails about any crazy tidbits you hear while walking through streets. Even if you don't live in New York City but hear something hilarious and worth blogging about, let us know. We need all the laughs we can get.
